plateaus When you start out, you're on the lowest plateau looking up to the topplateaus by ~punk-rock-poet
Sin temps you, and some captures you
If you're not careful it'll hold on and you'll stay on that plateau
I was just like that...once, sin had control
Now im new
God has lifted me up to a higher plateau
I gave my sins, sorrow,my sickness, and pain all to him so i could gain more joy
Now i'm higher, still looking up, but also pulling people from below up too
Im looking forward to when God pulls me up higher
Now i realize how miserable i was below and how much better i am now
Before i didn't know what happiness was, now my hearts over flowing with it

It's dripping down the drain
corrupted minds, who is to blame?
No one but themselves
Someone helped them of that im sure
No one helped them when they where:
hurting
sad
lonely
alone
cying
sighing
Where were the people when our youth was dying?
They say we're slipping as they push us, and they wonder where life took us
The youth was our future, but now we are all gone
Who is gonna push them when our time is done?
